About Institute: The National Institute of Ayurveda was established on Feb. 7th, 1976 by the Government of India as an apex Institute of Ayurveda in the country to develop high standard of teaching, training and research in all aspects of Ayurvedic System of Medicine with a scientific approach. Honorable Primeminister of India declared NIA as Deemed to be University under De Novo category on Nov. 9th, 2020. Course Title: Certificate course on Assessment of Prakriti
About the Course – The Certificate Course on Assessment of Prakriti is designed to give hands on training on Uniformity and standardized tool used for helping in Ayurvedic diagnosis. The course is designed for people who are emerging physician working in Government or Private sector looking to startup with Prakriti Assessment Clinics. The 30 days Certificate Course on assessment of Prakriti is being offered by NIA, Deemed to be University (De Novo), Jaipur in the Department of Kriya Sharir. Page 2 Aim and Objectives of the Course – – 1) To prepare Prakriti Analyst. 2) To develop co-ordination skill, self-discipline, empathy, dedication, patience, persistence and ethical behavior in trainees. 3) To nurture assessment skills like good communication with the Assesses. 4) To collect the information from assesses and prepare the Prakriti report based on outcome evaluation. Type of the Course – 30 days Certificate course will be a contact learning programme with hands on training and periodical assessments of the participants. Duration: 30 days Eligibility: BAMS Graduates Intake capacity: 20 students per batch (For two batches) Fees: No fee as it is a Sponsored Programme from Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India (under Central Sector Scheme for Skill Development under Champion Services Sector Scheme). Selection Procedure: On first come first serve basis of the eligible candidates. Medium of Instruction: English and Hindi Certificate: Regular assessments will be done throughout the programme. Certificate will be provided to the trainees after clearing the Exit exam with minimum 50% marks. Certificates will be awarded to the qualified students by the Institute. General Rules and Regulations: As per the rules and regulations of NIA, Deemed to be university (de-novo), Jaipur guidelines. Hostel facility: No hostel facility shall be provided by NIA for the students enrolling for this certificate course. KSHARA SUTRA CERTIFICATE COURSE
Ayurvedic medicine has its own importance for the treatment of various medical and surgical diseases irrespective of tremendous development of modern medicine. There are number of diseases where modern surgery is unable to offer satisfactory treatment and recurrence of these diseases is common even after repeated surgeries. Kshara Karma and Kshara Sutra therapy is a Minimal Invasive Ayurvedic Para-surgical procedure and time-tested Ayurvedic technique in the management of Anorectal disorders. It is a safe, sure and cost effective method of treatment for fistula-in-ano, Haemorrhoids and other sinus diseases.
