I have seen a patient of Sinus in groin operated three times and recurred again and again. Initially he was diagnosed as a case of pyogenic abscess and I & D performed. It was followed by a MRI examination.
It revealed osteomyelitis of Ilium. He was operated twice for bone excision and grafting. The sinus recurred.
The patient came for treatment through Ayurveda,

Swarn basant malati rasa
Rudanti ghanstava
Kanchanar guggulu
Chopchini churna
Local application of Vrana rakshash taila has been perfomed.
The results were satisfactory

The patient is under follow up and there is not any recurrence is seen in an year. The MRI still shows bone thickning.
