NGO Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad will organise its second national conference in the city on February 27 and 28.
The ayurveda fraternity from over 14 states of India and abroad are expected to participate in two-day deliberations. The ayurveda experts, vice chancellors of the ayurveda universities, teachers, PG and PhD student delegates are expected to participate.Seminar on ‘Recent Advances and Skill Development in Ayurveda’ will be a part of it. Over 300 undergraduate students from the ayurvedic colleges of Punjab are expected to witness the event and some of them will even participate in poster presentation. Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad is a collective platform of such co-workers where all its members are eager to contribute their knowledge and activity for the betterment of ayurveda Health and Family Welfare Minister Surjeet Kumar Jyani will inaugurate the seminar on February 27 at DAVIET and Forests Minister Bhagat Chuni Lal will grace the valedictory function. Vice-Chancellor of Guru Ravidass Ayurveda University Prof OP Upadhaya and Vice Chancellor of Utranchal Ayurveda University Dr Satender Prasad Mishra will preside over the function. Director of Ayurveda, Punjab, Dr Rakesh Sharma, Satish Kumar of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, local MLAs Manoranjan Kalia and KD Bhandari will also attend the event
